EMERGENCY–Flooding in Bolivia Continues

The sun has come out for the weekend, but the rivers are still rising in the eastern departments of Cochabamba and Beni. The latest news reports indicate that 55 people have drowned, 11 are missing and, over 55,000 families have been left homeless in 133 different municipalities. Agua Yaku will be heading to Trinidad tomorrow with the First Baptist Church of Santa Cruz with at least 100 Sawyer Products water filters so we can provide clean safe drinking water for displaced families. We would love to bring more filters along. To help with the effort visit our blog athttp://aguayaku.org/ and follow the links on the donate button. $80 will provide a filter for a family that will give them up to 500 gallons a day of clean safe for a decade.
