I want to remind you that today, March 22, 2018, is officially designated as World Water Day. This is a great day to reflect on the importance of clean water in our own lives and in the lives of everyone living on this planet. Most of you receiving this email do not have to think […]
Well, it is the rainy season in Bolivia. The Agua Yaku team spends more time trying to get out of mud holes (or pull other people out) than we would wish for, but we are still getting out there and drilliing wells where clean water is needed.
I just finished our new website section called “How We Work,” where I explain in detail the philosophy behind the “how” and “why” of what Agua Yaku does in Bolivia. I thought I would repost it here so that our blog readers could have the first look at this document. Thank you so much for […]
Here is a short video recap of Agua Yaku’s recent motorcycle adventure/water filter distribution trip with Christ Community Church from Ames, Iowa. Guys, thanks for coming out and working so hard to get clean water for all of these kids!

We have made several revisions to our new drilling rig in the last couple of months, working out the bugs in our system so we can drill wells deeper, faster, and with a smaller work crew than we could previously. We have developed a more mechanized rig because we have found that we cannot find […]

We were not able to successfully drill through the rock in the area, but […]
