Water Filters

AQUASIV Kickstarter Campaign is LIVE!

We launched the AQUASIV Kickstarter fundraising campaign today!  Check it out at:

If you have been following our progress, you know that we have been working on a new water filter design for several years. We have tested several different prototype designs and are now ready to shift production into high gear! The AQUASIV modular water filter will work equally well for recreational activities (such as hiking, camping, and backpacking), international travel, disaster-relief, charity, and home use. Watch the video in the Kickstarter campaign for a complete overview. Join us in supporting this Kickstarter fundraising effort by opting in at one of the reward levels. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $30,000 over the next 30 days to help us cover the initial costs of tooling and manufacturing. We would ideally like to raise closer to $50,000, or even $100,000, so we can finance enough manufacturing to fulfill the Kickstarter orders and then to begin supplying filters for international NGO and charity projects, like Agua Yaku in Bolivia!
To be completely transparent, if you participate in this Kickstarter campaign, you are NOT simply donating to Agua Yaku’s work in Bolivia. You will actually be purchasing an “advance copy” of the filter. Depending on which reward level you select, we will be sending you one of the first AQUASIV filter kits for your own personal use. If you do not think you need a filter yourself, you can always give it away as a gift to an outdoor enthusiast or international traveler friend. If you would like to support us in making AQUASIV a success, you can opt in at one of the higher supporting reward levels—Partner ($500), Leader ($1000), Benefactor ($5000), or Visionary ($10,000). Also, for a $500 pledge we can send you a “mission team” kit (which includes 20 charity filter kits) to take with you anywhere in the world where local people don’t have access to clean water.

If you would prefer to donate directly to Agua Yaku, through the EFCCM or the EFCA, please click on “donate” in this email and follow the appropriate links. We will make sure you get the appropriate receipt for tax purposes. Your donation to Agua Yaku will go directly to drilling water wells and distributing water filters in Bolivia. We will begin using AQUASIV filters in Bolivia as soon as possible. We are excited to note that AQUASIV will sell filters to Agua Yaku at cost. This will allow us to distribute more filters in Bolivia than ever before!

Thank you for your support.
